Eat Challah! Save the World!
Challah for Hunger (CfH) is spreading quickly across college campuses around the country and is now making an incredible showing at CUNY Hunter. Challah has quickly become part of Hunter culture.
CfH is an organization that enables you to support your community and others through the production & consumption of freshly baked, delicious Challah bread.
Every Thursday CfH will be tabling and selling fresh Challah with the proceeds going to feed those in need across the world. Both Shulcan l'shulchan (Table to Table)- a program in Israel that rescues food that would otherwise be thrown away and delivers it to the hungry, and AJWS Sudan Relief and Advocacy, will be benefiting from your consumption of Challah.
Are you going to eat Challah??
Hunter sells Challah every Thursday from 11:30AM-3PM on the 3rd floor in Hunter West, right in front of the cafeteria.
Take your pick of Egg, Whole Wheat, or our best seller- Chocolate Chip.
A slice with Nutella is $1; Egg and Whole Wheat loaves are $4; Chocolate chip loaves are $5

In the past Challah for Hunger has supported City Harvest and The Jeneba Project.
This semester, our chapter is donating our proceeds to American Jewish World Services Darfur Relief and Advocacy, as well as the Israeli organization Shulchan l'Shulcan (Table to Table)
