Vassar Challah for Hunger began in 2008, with the goal to raise money and awareness for Darfur relief and local poverty. Since then, this small and mighty chapter has raised thousands of dollars for charity and has written countless letters to public officials advocating for important causes.
Come help us bake on Wednesdays between 3 and 7 in the Bayit (right behind ACDC on Collegeview Ave., the last house), or stop by our table on Thursdays in the College Center. All are welcome!
Find us in the College Center every Thursday 10:30-3.
$4 for plain, $5 for chocolate chip or flavor of the week. Get $1 off for an act of advocacy!
Half our profits are donated to American Jewish World Service's Sudan Relief and Advocacy Fund, which provides aid in Darfur. The other half is donated to Dutchess Outreach, a local organization that provides various human services in Poughkeepsie.
